Probate and Small Estate Document Preparation in Las Vegas
Yuri Notary offers probate document preparation for families settling a loved one’s estate in Clark County. Many smaller estates can be handled with a small estate affidavit or a simplified court process instead of full probate.
Probate Options in Nevada
Nevada offers several paths depending on the size and type of the estate. Smaller estates without real property may qualify for an affidavit under NRS 146.080. Other estates may use a petition to set aside the estate, summary administration or general administration in the Eighth Judicial District Court.
Real estate, out of state property, creditor claims and disagreements between heirs can change which option applies.
How I Help With Probate and Small Estate Document Preparation
- Preparing small estate affidavits at your direction
- Preparing petitions, orders and notices for set aside or summary administration
- Organizing an inventory from the information you provide
- Filing assistance, certified copies and recording of deeds
I cannot tell you which probate option applies to your situation, how assets should be divided or whether an estate qualifies. Contested estates, large estates and estates with disputes between heirs should be handled by an attorney.
