How Small Claims Works in Nevada
Small claims cases are filed in the justice court for the township where the person or business you are suing lives or does business, under NRS Chapter 73. After filing, the other side must be served, and the court sets a hearing date.
Common cases include unpaid loans, security deposits, property damage, unpaid work and contractor disputes.
