Real Estate Services, Coming Soon
COMING SOON: John Yurasits is in the process of earning his Nevada real estate salesperson license. Real estate sales services will be added to Yuri Notary once the license is issued.
Getting a Nevada real estate license is the next step for Yuri Notary. After more than 30 years as a notary, years of loan signings and closings, and work as a Nevada Certified Document Preparer, John is adding real estate to the services he can offer clients across Clark County.
Please note: John is not yet a licensed real estate salesperson and does not currently represent buyers or sellers or offer real estate brokerage services. Until his license is issued and active under a Nevada broker, Yuri Notary continues to offer notary, loan signing and document preparation services only.
Steps to Get a Nevada Real Estate License
Here is the path every new Nevada real estate salesperson follows, and the same one John is working through now:
- Meet the basic requirements. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Complete 120 hours of pre-licensing education. Nevada requires 45 hours of Real Estate Principles, 45 hours of Real Estate Law (including 18 hours of Nevada law), 15 hours of Contracts and 15 hours of Agency.
- Pass the state and national exams. Both portions of the Nevada salesperson exam must be passed, and the results must be dated within 12 months of applying.
- Get fingerprinted for a background check. Fingerprints are taken through an approved vendor and are only valid for two months, so timing matters.
- Choose a sponsoring broker. A Nevada salesperson must work under a licensed broker before the license can become active.
- Apply to the Nevada Real Estate Division. The application (Form 549), exam results, education certificates, fingerprint confirmation and the $140 fee are submitted to the Division.
- Complete post-licensing education. New licensees complete additional post-licensing coursework during their first year in the business.

What Is Coming
Once licensed, John plans to help Clark County buyers and sellers with the same care he brings to every signing: clear explanations, careful attention to paperwork and quick, honest communication. Clients will be able to work with one professional who understands the contract, the closing documents and the notarization.
